A leisurely Cruise Tour[Straw ring around the Pier]Odaiba

The points entertainment of Odaiba are the large shopping mall, amusement park, museum and the sea. Do you know there is the only sand beach in Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo? Let's take a stroll through this Tokyo resort while feeling the softness tidal wind full of negative air ion.

You can see a square park like a fort after entering the Odaiba. In fact, this is the remains of the fort built by Shogunate in order to resist the invasion of overseas ships forced to open up to trade at the end of the Edo period. This is the origin of the name of the Odaiba.

But now, it’s contrary to what it meant at the time, the Odaiba has become lively with the arrival of a large number of visitors to Japan. Instead of defending against foreign enemies, it became the Odaiba where the natural sea wind could be felt inside the Tokyo. The cherry blossoms in spring, the hydrangea macrophyllas in summer and so on, all the beautiful trees and flowers bring different colors to the street. It's perfect for walking around here at any time of the year.

As for why they fly out of the water, some say they’re "escaping big fish", some say they’re "chasing small fish" and some say "just playing"...But are we happy to think that if they are just playing?

However, do you know that this bird is actually a migrant bird? The bird lives in the Tokyo Bay from autumn to spring, and in distant Siberia for the rest of the time. So the bird that we actually see in summer is a Black-tailed gull (a seagull that meows like a cat). They can be distinguished by the color of their beaks and feet. The red one is yurikamome (Larus ridibundus) and the yellow one is Black-tailed gull .These two kinds of birds can be seen in the spring. Do you want to look for them?
